We aim to provide a range of activities to suit the interests of everyone who comes in a non threatening environment. Using a mixture of volunteers and paid coaches we ensure that activities are suitable and properly supervised. There are quieter areas for those who prefer. Whilst we offer these activities please note that at least one parent/carer must stay during the session.
Adult Time
FACES is for adults and children. Parents/ carers can take time out to relax and chat. You will be among friends who are all caring for children on the spectrum,.Often it is in knowing that we are not alone that we can draw strength.
We have regular speakers who come and share their expertise with us and there is a great deal of knowledge and experience within our group which you can tap into. We also have a network of contacts we can put you in touch with who can help.on specific issues.
There are also regular socials for parents to get some down time.
Confidentiality
We seek at all times to respect the confidentiality of everyone who joins in at FACES. We will never use photographs in our publicity without your express permission in writing nor provide any information to people outside the group unless you say we can or we are required to by law,
